The approach and the city gates are both hot in the notes. That is pressure on the road, still not a census of how many people are angry.
Single hard block
Red Zone
D-Chowk · Constitution Avenue
This is the single hard stop. Parliament, D-Chowk and Constitution Avenue are the sealed civic core when a march is expected. Reports describe a restriction on entry, not a counted PTI crowd standing on the avenue on the night of 10 Oct.
Repeated in Sep–Oct security notes. Pre-march security reporting, Sep 25 and early Oct.
How many people, and how heated: open reports did not count the crowd. September coverage cited about 22,000 security personnel and 1,200 containers. That is a security claim, not protesters. Pressure here is how hard the road is held in those notes — not a score of angry people, and not a cue to act.
Google traffic and Popular Times are not connected. They show relative busyness of venues, not an open march, and they need a Maps key. This desk does not invent that layer.
